First of all the light colored lacing on the green breast feathers. Second the wide barring on the back feathers. Third the single bars on those feathers, cocks have multi bars on those feathers. It probably has some Spaulding in her, Spaulding hens have barring so that makes it a bit harder and throws a lot of people off. The first pic shows the breast better than the second pic. I also notice that the tail feathers are 'spade' shape which normally says cock, but in young molting birds that rule is not always true.@KsKingBee and @Argus , I normally agree with you two on sex, so I am curious as to what makes this one look female to you.
