My roos feathers grew alot faster then my pullets.After about two weeks all my males had longer wing feathers and were way bigger in size then the females.After 4 weeks they grew feathers on their body faster than females and thicker legs.You can tell by looking at their legs too.Its weird because i was always told longer wings ment pullet wich has always been opposite for me.
Too young to tell. In some cases males seem to grow tails more slowly and feather out slower than females, but it's not a reliable sexing indicator by itself.
Thanks! My town allows ten hens and zero roosters. Starting to bond with these chicks. It's gonna be hard to let some of them go later on down the road
