Male or female?

So I bought this Buff Orpington about a month ago. When I bought him or her I was told it was a female. Well about a week ago I noticed she has been mounting my Silkie female. My Silkie hasn't started laying eggs so I'm guessing maybe she hasn't matured. Can anyone please let me know if this is possibly a little rooster or is it possible she is a female that is trying to show dominance. She gets picked on by 2 of my hens.

The thing is I'm not sure. I am relatively new to chickens. The seller told me they were 4 months old which I seriously doubt. That was a month and half ago.

So when I bought her along with a young Barred Rock. She will challenge the Barred Rock every so often but will submiss to her. The Barred rock seldom gets aggressive unless she is challenged though.
