What breed and when, are you all set up for their arrival? Ducks love their water and are very messy! LOL

AND make sure you give your baby ducklings the added niacin in their feed to help prevent any possible leg issues.

They are Pekins. Three male three female. I have a duck pool in the ground, a large, fully enclosed pen, a pen for roaming and am working on an enclosed “house” for night time. What type of niacin? I have the feed, it’s duck pellets.
Thank you for the info, I need all of the advice I can get. I read all that I can find. I have a female that I inherited, and as I said the male has flown away,. My female laid over 20 eggs, but wouldn't sit on the nests.

If it's not too late, consider getting fewer drakes to help keep the peace.

I would have to agree with @raingarden if it's not to late. Your drake to hen ratio should be 1 drake to 4 or more hens to help keep the drakes from over breeding your hens.

How long did you have the ducks before the drake "left"?
