Oh definitely. I'm keeping him inside for at least a week.. if not longer depending on how he's doing. I feel kinda bad because I always loved peeking out the window and seeing him strut his stuff-- and make these really cute cooing sounds.. but now he's in the dog kennel, getting rest, which I know is good for him--- but he's not making a single peep.
The neighbor said she might take the mean rooster--- so I'm still deciding whether to eat him or not. lol I was thinkin about making chicken pot pie this week. hehe
Maybe also some extra good nutrition right now including healthy treats to aid in healing, mitigate for the stress and lift his spirits as he was hurt and now he's cooped up, both distressing I'm sure. I hope he will be well soon!! How I would love to have a peacock in residence - my neighbors would surely shoot me though!.
