MALLARD THREAD...not rouens, Mallards!

I currently have it in the brooder I use for my chicks, so it has an electric hen so to speak. But my chicks are due to hatch any day now which is making this even more stressful for me as you can imagine!
I will try and see if I can find a local wildlife rehabbed then, hopefully there is one nearby! Thanks for your help and reassurance.

After rescuing one mallard and having to give it up to Project Wildlife, we decided we had to have more. We got two of them. This is Quacksy. She's around six weeks old now. Growing so fast!!

It's happening! My drake is going into the eclipse phase!

There is a little bit of green at the start of his bill.

I will post a few pictures in a little bit.

That's great! In a few weeks he will look awesome! Btw its called breeding plumage, eclipse plumage is the camouflaged hen-like pattern.

Oh okay. I found out my second drake is actually a hen . So I have two hens and one drake now at least I get more eggs!
