MALLARD THREAD...not rouens, Mallards!

This is my one mallard and East Indies cross who flew in a few years back with a big flock of mallards but she stayed has been with us for about 3 or 4 years we hatched one baby from her this past year

Sadly it died the first day it was born
 
we had a mallard for 4 or 5 years she laid an egg every day, but sadly a coyote ate her

but we got one every single day her name was masapekwa

Thanks I was told that the baby when grown would have looked like a black Swedish but be small like a mallard and fly of course . I'm really sad she died .
 
Mine are greenish or blueish

Thanks I thought they should be. I got three mallard females and only one of them lays greenish eggs. The others are creamy white. They were from the same hatch from a mallard farm, so I was a little confused. They can fly and don't look like rouens to me, any reason you could think of on why that would happen? :-)
