Malt-o-Meal, cooked or uncooked?

Hi, I'm new here and working on raising 3 pullets. Was also cleaning out the cupboard and came across some Malt-O-Meal. I figure its good chicken food, but do I have to cook it? Or is it ok as it is? Same question on Gerber Baby Rice Meal - cooked or uncooked is ok? Would rather not have to cook it, got so many other things to do here.

i dont give mine any rice or anything that expands thats not cooked

I always cook it first and serve it when it's almost cool. In fact mine had a pan of Malt-O-Meal yesterday, they love it, practically lick the pan clean.

I make it with half milk and half water for extra protein and calcium. It might take them a little getting used to it the first time, just leave it there, they'll figure it out!
