Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

one of my newly bought little chicks , seems to hold his left wing a bit lower and not turn his head to left at all. 10 days old. i will watch and observe, other suggestions?

I am giving them a similar product in their water (stress aide) Cant find nutri drench up here.
I hope it is an injury from transport and not permanent. It seems like a pulled neck muscle. He seems to be stretching his wings and legs out a lot. Maybe he just pulled something. I hope the heat tunnel will help it. Like a good sauna.

So I have the sunbeam heating pad with 3 settings... Should I start on high or medium? I don’t want to cook em!
Depends on the ambient temp in the area. If it is a 68°F room, 3 is probably OK. Easy enough for the chicks to tell you though. If they don't come out, turn it up, if they don't want to go in (after understanding that is their heat source), turn it down.

I just picked up 4 EEs from a local breeder. They are 2 weeks old. Three of them seem to have figured out the MHP, but the fourth just keeps chirping and coming out. I keep sticking her back under but she doesn’t get it. The garage is 64 degrees, under the heating pad is 92.
