It is indeed warmer on the printed side( I don't know why they put the fuzzy stuff on there then-smh)but only about 10-15°F, I tested it with an infrared temp gauge.I'm a little concerned because I just read on a different thread that the printed side of the heating pad is the warmest, and I have that side up. It's supposed to get down to 30* tonight, but hopefully they'll be OK.
I've used both sides with success, depended on where I needed to cord to run....so, yeah, don't sweat it.
