Only if they are eating grit. Without grit its like feeding an infant a steak....

my bag of grit says not to feed to chicks under two weeks of age.

Thanks Deb I got her and a Colombian Wyandotte yesterday. My first of both. I opened up the back of the cave just in case the weeks old got a little bullyish under there. Thats where she is in the snap. This little girl is so sweet and calm. The wyandotte is very strong. Shes out there with the week olds like she's one of them.

Chick starter doesnt have grit. they arent old enough for grit yet... unless they are out with a broody hen who will feed them what they need in the sizes that they need.

Wait for treats till later. they really dont need anything els but chick starter for now.

Hope I'm not hurting mine. Theyre about 10 or so days. I have sand and very crumbled dry soil in there with them. They love it. Bathing already.
