I wish I would have seen this BEFORE I got my chicks! We are also using a medium sized dog crate for our chicks and put wrapped it with hardwire cloth but didn't even think of using the press-n-seal to keep those darn shavings off my floor! I have them in my utility room, but after three weeks of sweeping up their mess SEVERAL times a day...I'm ready to move them into the outside coop! Next time I'll definitely use the Press-n-seal to keep the shavings in! Thank you for the awesome tip

No ma'am...because I just read this today. We've been using a heat lamp on one side of the cage (on the outside of it) and it's giving them plenty of heat, but also enough space to get away from the heat source. However, next time I'll definitely try the Mama Heating Pad!
