1st- File a report with the cops--
THEN:
A No Trespassing signs
Locks on Coop & Run
A Pellet Gun
Also--- Get a Dog, AND run a poker-wire aroud the coop!

If there are others in the areas w/ Roo's-- he's got problems and has singled you out as the easiest scapegoat... nip it in the bud!!

Well I have to thank you all for your support and encouragement to DO SOMETHING. A lock on the pen and coop area will be a good start. Im just wondering if they had something poisonous in that bag.....they could very easily drop something that my babies would find over the fenced free-run part of the yard. Im hoping for the best, of course, but I dont trust people. They are mean and nasty and will stop at no end to get what they want. Its getting worse all the time.

* You can also investigate a little o/l and see what you can find out. Your county appraiser's website will tell you his name, full address, how much he paid for his property, when he bought it, and there are other places you can check for criminal history, etc. . . The more you find out, the better IMO. So get googlin'!!!

Lock your coops, runs and the gates to your yard. I like the camera idea even if they are fake because he could put something poison over to the birds and you wouldn't be able to prove it. I'd go for electric fence too

, No trespassing signs and a Surveillance Camera in use sign.

I wouldn't say the guy was having a bad day at all. Probably just fed up with the crowing and has had enough. If he's reached that point he'll be back.

I can't imagine living in a place where I would have to take such drastic measures as putting up video cameras, locks and chains, and living in fear all the time.
The BAD guys have won................where they've restricted your rights as a law abiding, decent citizen.
I don't live a lawless paranoid exsistence because I'm still able to defend myself, my family, and my property without fear of being prosecuted for doing so. The BAD guys are here, but they know, or rather don't know, who is and who isn't packing. I rarely lock my doors, I leave my "things" in the yard and they're still there when I return, I don't have graffiti on the side of my house or garage.
Things are only going to get worse for those of you who's leaders have decided for you that you can no longer stand up for yourself. The bad guys know it and are taking full advantage.
