Does any one know where I can buy a Mandarin hen?

I have a pair of 2013 hatched Regular colored to sell...no extra hens though.

PS- Not sure how i"ll go in and catch them even if someone does want to buy them now- the whites are so new and nervous. We do plan to go pull off all of my chicken pen top wire/covering- this winter has ruined it and it's torn and pulled away in many places. Once we pull that off, I'll get up on a ladder to reinforce the back side of the Mandy pen's netting with more...hard to describe, but the pens are all back to back and share adjacent walls. the only way to fix Mandy pen covering is to do from inside the pen (NOT doing that now) or from inside a different pen. It will be good to replace any chicken wire tops with 1X1" netting...

Chickenlisa, do you have mandarins for sale now? I am looking mainly for a hen but would consider a pair also. Someone told me you had some for sale. Please let me know! You can email me at [email protected]. TIA!

I have 1 pair of 2013 hatched birds left...I will ship them, but I have whoever is buying them send me the appropriate shipping box from Horizon, then I take them to the PO as soon as payment is made...on a Monday or Tuesday preferably...just in case. I love local pickup though- no shipping or potential for accidents.

Great! Two nights ago I lost two white mandarin breeder hens. Last night caught a fox. One hen was in good condition so will try to sell her for taxidermy, but the other hen had he head ripped of and was bloody. Kind of odd how the fox managed to kill them without being in the pen. I am assuming the were flying around and crashing into things at night and one might have gotten stuck. Of course those were two hens from two different people, and I had them for a variety of bloodlines. One drake seems quite sad without his mate. I did get great pictures of one of the hens a few days ago, so I will have something to remember her by.
