Have you considered a guard dog for the long term solution! And electric fence in the short term?

So very sorry about your losses--just heartbreaking. We've had problems with skunks, raccoons, foxes, possums, hawks (swoop down from above), cats, and dogs, previously. Your losses sound like raccoons. Our coop now is predator proof, and the yard has welded wire predator fencing plus netting across the top. So far, so good. We move the coop and fencing every week with a tractor. Hope you are able to overcome the predator problem. KanaKukkula
