I candled the best I could. Some are really dark. And I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Here are a few I think have babies inside

Sorry it took so long to post. Someone broke into our cars while we were sleeping last night and stole my husbands duty belt and all the gear on it (he's a corrections officer) and a check for $75. Bad morning filing reports and calling pawn shops.

have you tried to candle any of them yet?

I could not even check the air cells as the eggs were so dark. The fellow I got the eggs from said don't candle too soon. Tonight is day 4 so I think I will try tonight, I want to weigh the eggs to check humidity loss. We shall see.

I am sorry that some lazy jerks broke into your car ans stole from you. That's just horrible. When I lived in the city, someone tried to steal my car and stole belongings I had in car. Very frustrating for you and your husband. Good luck with your eggs!

I candled on day seven and had a really rough time trying to see through them. Thanks about the theft. The bag was recovered by a driver who saw it on the road and happened to live next to another officer. Everything was still there except the handcuffs. But we got security cams up last night do we should be able to catch them if they come back.

Hi everybody: Have you had any luck when candling your Marans eggs? I am on day 5 and I can see a blood type spot in a couple of eggs, hopefully it's the start of veining and not a real blood spot. I could see a lot of veining in my one Ameraucana eggs. I can't believe they survived (well so far anyways) the below freezing temps of my outside post office box. Hope all is well with everyone!

I'm going to try and check mine on Saturday....should be day 11. I'm going to try and find a brighter LED flashlight by then.
