of course! Today is day 19 for me so I am in lockdown mode!

I haven't got a clue how many I have active. I left all 12 in since I don't know what I'm looking for and didn't want to throw away a perfectly good egg by accident . But no exploded eggs yet!

Lockdown will May 6th me as well,,,,Will put then in the hatcher....2Legbars and the 1cuckoo lemon orpington 16 marans,,,I will pull the 30 A&M quail out of it...Since they came in 5 days later..put them in the bator with the 18 welsummer bantams and 6 cuckoo maran bantams...

They pop on motherday then 4 -5 days later the welsummer...Got my brooder shined up...got my stick of juiceyfruit,,I am ready,,,,

lock down is saturday for me to

i started with 24 removed 1 on day 5 , opend incy to fill water and smelled rotten eggs

had to sniff each one but i found it ! it was a silky, candled yesterday day 14 saw 7 wriggle

removed 2 not fertile! others i can see veins but blue and green eggs off a friend so cant see through them well so

but will leave them in and see what happens

2nd time at incubating , last time got 3 chicks out of 10 eggs! now nearly 4wks old,others only part developed or failed to pip

Alaska Fowl INC: You sure have a production line going!!! Good luck to you! I am sure I read on the forum somewhere that Marans can take longer to hatch, any ideas on that theory?
