my one was day 22. everything left looks pretty....still. I'm guessing they are all done..

ive had a great hatch this time

20 eggs on lockdown 14 hatched

6 still in bator 1 pipped last night but humidity dropped to 15 overnight

its not moving ! have i killed the rest ?

well, I'm 1/2 way to giving up.

I opened up the egg that was the most active a couple days ago. The chick was fully developed, not slimy, yolk sack fully absorbed....but never made it. Not sure what went wrong. Not sure why, but I'm waiting till tomorrow to clean out the rest. I did go to the local feed store and picked up a little ISA Brown for the little chick to hang out with.

I'm worried that's what happened to me. My eggs stopped moving but no pips or movement now. Dang this is a rough process!

I'm just stumped as to why. These guys were goning bonkers in there for a day. Oh well.....I found a place within an hour of here that sells BCM chicks and eggs. http://www.bjspoultry.com/black-copper-marans-chicks-pullets.html I may try them next time instead of shipping eggs, but thats going to have to wait a while. The wife is a bit upset over 1 out of 17 eggs hatching..
