Maran or wynadotte

I just got this boy a month ago from a lady who says he was a wynadotte.. pretty sure he looks like a Maran which is super exciting if so. Help

Ahhhh I’m so excited!!! I’ve always wanted the chocolates eggs! But I have a bantam lady friend that Lays pink eggs that just hatched out his two babies. Wonder what color their eggs will be.

I know. He’s gotten huge. He wasn’t that big when I got him and I have 4 other regular size hens. This black one actually was on the property when I moved in so I just kept her. I don’t know if she is bantam or what she is. She’s not tiny tiny, but smaller than all the others.

If it's been fine, don't worry about it. We have both bantams and standard birds, and the big roosters, even the one who was mating our smallest bantam hen, did no harm.
Seramas would be a different case, but otherwise a careful rooster should be safe enough.
