Maran possible egg blockage ?? URGENT HELP needed

when I arrived home last Tues ... she was still alive !! still lethargic but eating & drinking. All her food & alot of her water was gone !!
I have her isolated so I know that she is the one eating food
I did give her yogurt & boiled egg yolks as instructed. She ate quite a bit
She didn't do any walking ... just layed by the food & kept dozing off ??
But she did eat pretty good amt for her & drank water
I had to leave again for TH holidays :'( So am on the way back home today. I again left her separated from others with plenty of food, water & also yogurt & egg yolks as well as some ground oyster shells. Guess I'll see when I get home ;) Will post another update, as well as taking some pics as requested above
Thanks for all the input
Hope all had a Blessed & Thanks FILLED Thanksgiving :)

when I got home ... my girl was dead :( :he
she was my favorite :hit
Well that puts me down to 2 hens (neither of which are laying ??) & a rooster !!
I dunno ... maybe I'm not cut out to raise chickens

Sorry for you loss.
Could she possibly had Coccidiosis and or worms?
Or lice and mites?

Sorry for your loss. A necropsy can be done by your state vet if you want to find out what was wrong. Refrigerate her body and ship it on ice packs early Monday if you want to do that.

I dunno ... I'm too new to know much :hit:hmm
I dont think the coccidiosis (lost 2 to that right after Hurricane Harvey) ... no diarrhea.
How do I know if they have worms or lice or mites?? I have 3 others that seem to be fine ???

Try treating your other birds with SafeGuard goat wormer 10% white suspension liquid. 3cc per gallon for 3 days. This should be their only source of drinking water. Birds that are wormy express the same symptoms that yours did. Lice and mites can be found anywhere on the body, but especially near the vent. lift up the feathers near their vent and you may see little red or black specks moving around (mites), yellowish/tan/reddish-brown buggy things crawling around (lice), or nothing at all. lice will also leave their eggs in little deposits of clumps of white, hard, globs at the base of feathers.
