And 6 week old...I have no idea

If you go back to page 1 of this thread you will see them on March 5 and they were 7 or 8 weeks old. They combs weren’t all the way developed yet.

Update: two have laid. One laid a green egg and one laid a light brown egg. I’m not the one who crossed the genetics. I purchased them at 1 day old from someone who advertised them as F2 olive eggers. Does this happen often where some will be Olive eggers and some will be light brown layers?
Image is if one Ameraucana egg and the new oe egg with some blood in it. Poor girl

Oh yay! Those are pretty eggs regardless...I don’t know genetics, just that a true Marans Ameraucana mix should have a pea comb since that’s dominant and lay a green egg...Mine would be F1 olive Eggers...yours being F2 I’m not as familiar with. Possible that you have an Easter Egger mix and they may variety of colours...

Yes! And only 1 of the mix has a pea comb. They have gotten a ton nicer now that they are laying! :) so happy about that!

I hope yours are awesome for you! Chickens are so fun.

Just in case anyone stumbles upon this post looking at pea combs, these all turned out to be pullets! Haven’t started laying yet but they’re definitely girls:)
