Sorry I can't help you out with the poo board ideas, all of my coops with the exception of 2 smaller ones have dirt floors and if I had had my head on straight when I was building the 2 smaller coops, I would have made them without a floor as well, but I wasn't thinking. I love the dirt floors and the deep litter method. I take the top layer off about once a week and the chooks are happy to come in and scratch in the new stuff I toss in. They basically do all the work for me keeping it turned and about 4-5 times a year they get scrapped down to dirt and we start over.
The 2 smaller coops have wood floors with a painted on moisture barrier that I use when building tile showers and vinyl over that, granted they are easy to clean because the poo just comes right off, but the thing I don't like about them is that they don't break anything down, nothing really decomposes like it does on the dirt floors.
