This is Roy ~ 19 weeks. He's my favorite boy and so sweet!

Pip ~ 24 weeks. He was feeling left out, so he flew up on the little coop for some attention, he never does this! lol

Got his picture taken and had to crow about it! I'm liking him more and more. He changes every week, and is a slower maturer. Now..to fix his attitude! LOL

So this is what I would do - -- CRD is CHRONIC and will return. It will effect future chicks from these guys. Also, would make these guys carriers to effect the rest of your flock. . . .

So, I would make some phone calls on Monday and find a vet that would analyze a throat swab to determine exactly what they have. What ever one has the others have - - - so you only need one test done.

You have invest $ $ $ in these birds, so I would confirm what they have before I did anything.

I grow some red castor beans they are for looks and very pretty and tropical looking. The thing with them is you have to cover the seedpods with nylons or something to catch the seeds in when they start to dry at the end of the summer or else cut them off when they begin to form because they are very toxic if something eats them.
They look like this (see link)

Debbi: I love Blue Butt. What a cutie. Yep, he looks like he is gonna have a 'tude' lol. I think you and I have a naughty rooster affinity or something. They attract to us

I've kinda decided I like the ones with a little bit of attitude- they are more fun.
Pip looks real proud of himself up there. He is showing his personality in that last pic lol.

Thanks Walt! That means a lot coming from you!! Too bad I can't take the credit for breeding them. Tannis and Don had their hands in there with Roy and Clyde!

I just hatched them. Pip is a Jesse Bryant baby, who was a lone hatch here.

flgardengirl ~ YES! Blue Butt already has major "tude"!

So does Pip, the growly little ingrate! But, like you said, I like a challenge, and they both have real personalities. Pip should calm down once I can pair him off with some ladies of his own. Lots of testosterone flying around out there. Sounds like a game cock farm in the mornings!
