You CAN be an egg snob! We all started somewhere...and MANY of us started with birds that didn't lay a super dark egg!

Thanks for the encouragement. I am working on it. I am picking up alot of egg this week end at the poultry show. I will even be trying my hand with "Blues"................ I am going Friday afternoon for the sales tables & then going back all day Saturday with my grand daughter & a chicken friend of mine. I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!!

I know some people have golden cuckoo marans. i ordered 12 chicks and looked like only 2 were roosters, and they dont look like they are gonna make it thru the night, cant even stand up. does anyone have a extra roo or 2 that they wanna get rid of or know where i can get one?

Shipped 13 and all arrived safe and undamaged !

There is also someone in Texas that breeds them.....can't remember who.....doesn't Wynette breed them too???......Lotsapaints in CA. has them, Chasehope in WA. has them (but haven't seen her around in a while).......GEEBS might could possibly be one to hook you up with some of her breeder friends....I know she knows folks who breed Goldens.
