If I had gotten another good blue one pink... I would have sent it... The little bugger wouldn't cooperate.. I was going to sendie you little blue girls eggies... DANG weather!!!

What do you guys think of this shipping method.... Floral foam.... the kind ya water... I carved out holes for 3 eggs in two blocks and put them together and secured with wood dowels and put in box... super light... if the eggs were to crack...the goo would be absorbed in the foam... I hope Charles lets me know how they arrive... They are actually my daughter's eggs...Her birdies are the only ones laying... DRAT!!!

Your eggs should surely make it just fine. I thought about sending some, but lately they have not been too consistent in size and color. I like the colors, but some are speckled, and some are large, some are HUGE! Maybe next show as I have two more pullets just starting to lay.

Ya so did she (Mel)... She is still profusely sorry... I really had an entry that stood a chance... They were 7's and an 8 with excellent shape... and they weren't scratched!!!! THey were bright!!! They were soooo roundy!!! but if they hadn't won I would have scratched my head... This way I have someone to BLAME!!!

My goal when I started this was colored eggs to shown at our local country fair this summer & boy am I going to do that......LOL. My girls have finally started laying and althought the eggs are not great there are some strong 5s & that is better than last year's & certainly nothing that has been shown around here. There were no really "colored eggs at last year's fair. I wish mine were darker but I am still excited to share.
