I dont know what I am going to do with them. I have only had them less than 24 hours and so I havent had much time to think about it. It was a rash decision to purchase them so I didnt have a "plan" so to speak. I am looking to improve their color, so yes I would think that I would try to breed out the white. I am open to suggestions as to what I should do, and how I might go about doing it.

Don, I am looking for a replacement rooster, so hopefully I can find one that is free of white feathers. That would be ideal of course. The problem is that there are not very many of them around. it will be a fun adventure to see how it goes with them!

Chasehope, boy, I absolutely love that great big chest on your GC boy!! I know nothing about that color, but gosh, seems like if you could find one with no white in the tail and a smaller tail, the body/type looks (to my untrained eye) really nice! And just as an overall comment about prettiness (not in association with the SOP or anything) I think he's just super eye-catching & handsome!

A gal by me has hatching eggs that are GC... I had some from her... Nice birds... If you pm me maybe some hatching eggs can improve the 'line' ... they are also I believe she told me last year originally Braden as well.... Might be an op for you.

I like the natural disaster thing.. makes sense... We have several themes here at the Phunny Pharm. My BLRW pen has the blue man crew theme and everyone has names....however the founding rooster was Alpha, and the founding hen Was Omega (oh my egg a) then the babies have blue names like Blue ju ju and Blue Jean aka jean, get-rythm etc....

Pm me if want our horses names... ha ha.. Not going to clog up the marans post with that... I haven't named the new generation of Chocolate bits... Tootsie will probably be one, Emmy m, etc... I wouldn't turn down some small chocolate names if anyone out there wants to hail me on the private transmitter (star trek reference here)... srry... I am in rare form today!!!
