Would signs of this be that one is spending too much time wiping nose and forehead smudges off the 'bator window???

Yes, plus trying to figure out if that egg really did move, or is it your eyeballs jumping around? Was that a peep, or did your nose whistle??

BROODER # 2 - - - With Angled Sun Roof AND a screen window that has a locking door / latch for REALLY COLD nights.

The TWO other screen windows have a sliding clear PVC storm sheild.
That way there is ALWAYS light and I can close them for rainy or windy or cold weather.

Hi

I suppose someone might cheat but the egg color is the same now in the black copper, wheaten, blue wheaten, copper blue, blue, black, birchen, silver and gold duckwing. There would be little gain in cheating.

Bev

So you are saying that at your typical big show, where eggs are shown, that the eggs from black copper are no darker than the solid blacks, blues, and gold and silver salmon? When did that happen? I haven't seen many eggs from outside of the Coppers/Birchens that came close in color.

Wow, Math! You are getting to be quite the construction hand. Congrats on your new project. I'm jealous. Our weather has been preventing me from getting anything built outside. Rain and snow yesterday, snow and WIND today. ugh. I really want to convert my egg nest that I built into a roll out nest. I have plans but need a little cooperation from the weather. After that..... reconstruct the barn. That will be an entire summer project.

You are smart to put that project on legs like you did. That saves SO much bachache!
