That first photo makes her look like a roo...but the second photo I am seeing a pullet and seeing some Bill characteristics. She looks like Billie in the head area. And wanna know something that is going to make you crazy???? I can't tell if she is black or if she is blue.

Maybe someone else can see her better on their monitor....but I will say this....if you see lacing and you think she is blue then girlfriend...she is probably blue. One of those sneaky little peeps that may appear to be a light black but is truly blue. If'n you find that you just can't stand her you can send her back here to me

......I'd just end up tossin' her in with Gnarles.

I'm seeing blue pullet, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! Her belly fluff is most definately not black. Would be nice if she was a Bill's daughter girl, she is a big bird. Time and eventual breeding will tell I guess. And NO, they ain't coming back to Washington!

They all made progress tonight, and finally put themsleves in their coop!

Even old Pip went in before I got out there! Now, THAT'S progress!

which one should i keep???
i have two adorable 5 week old wheaten marans pullets. i get to choose first but i only get to keep one. which one should i pick? or is it too early to tell? they look very different to me and i don't know which is better. all help greatly appreciated.

Coonass now there's a term I haven't heard in awhile but they gotta be registered coonasses (RCAs) to be authentic don't cha know? LOL
All this talk of Cajun food has me jonesing for fried alligator, some crawdads with corn (suckin em heads and pinchin em tails) some bbq quail and pistolettes! I love this little restraunt in Sulphur LA called Cajun Charlies! In true Cajun style, its right next to a graveyard too LOLOL!

Naw Mais cher! You gotta getchyoself on down da bayou toward Houma way and go to griffin's! Dey got dem bacon wrapped fried oyster poboys wit da swamp fries. Now dats what I'm talkin bout cher!
