I am going to try not to get to racey here, since it is not late enough for that . ... Here Goes . . . .. . . .
If the men minded being Hen Pecked, then they would be happy to stay in the bacherlor pads. . . .
I've got 3 young roos right now who would trade their freedom in a heart beat to be surrounded by a bunch of hen pecking females
The women only like him because he is sweet enough to let them hen peck him
Post a picture Ivywoods. . . How bad is your boy looking?
Is it all women or just a few Pain in the butts ? ? ?
You could try letting your boy out separate than the ladies during the day time. .. . The would eliminate pecking during the day time. . . In the evening, he will have too much on his mind to allow the girls time to peck him
I separate my girls and roo all day almost every day. I do this to give the girls a break, but I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.
They all free range together. I'm getting close to just separating him for the rest of the year. If I get a good hatch out of what is in the incubator, then he will start his bachelorhood for the year. I have to see about getting pictures. I'm on a different computer since mine crashed, and loading pictures is P.I.T.A on this one.
