Speaking of attitudes, was thinking the other day, all my Marans roos with 'tudes' have been either blue or blue copper. None of the bcms, golden cuckoo, wheaten, etc have attitudes lol.
Hmmm I was wondering, maybe if it was because I held them more (because I favor them lol) than the bcms but then I hold my golden cuckoo males all the time and they are really sweet (excitable but sweet) and the wheaten males actually
want me to hold them and they are over a year old. Sweetie Pie is a wheaten roo, and he is the one who goes after new or different shoes but he isn't mean to me or bite me just hates the new shoes. He enjoys being held too.
Does anyone have naughty BCM, Wheaten or cuckoo marans?
Pip is a BCM! He's the worst of the two. He was held and handled a lot because of his being a single hatch, and I had to save him from the others for so long! Blue Butt did not get handled much because I had heard of the excessive handling of roos = bad tudes! Roy & Clyde were both handled a lot. The weather was in an iffy stage when they were old enought to go outside, and they spent more time in the house because of it. I carted them in and out of the house to play for weeks! I don't think it matters either way, it's more of an individual personality thing in my opinion. Kind of like kids. Both raised the same, with waaaaaay different personalities and outcomes!
