thanks for thinkin positive about my website stuff...I can get overwhemed by working on it sometimes as I have a vision of what I want it to look like, but it is hard to get some of the programs to give me the flexibility I need to make it look like I see in my mind



Ah yes, if only the world was like I see it in MY mind!

It's a lot of work maintaining a site. I used to have one for my antique sewing machines and parts.

haha...that's a scary thought if the world would always be like what I see in my mind. I get all sorts of crazy art ideas all the time and forget about all the mundane detail stuff... that I'm afraid it would be chaos hahahha

Hopefully, that is if the old body holds up. I did some weed whacking in the garden yesterday, then took some Roundup out to the big stuff on the fringes of the yard. Then hauled all the Silkies outside to play, then cleaned the broody cages, then hauled them all back in. This was all after the hornet removal fiasco in the morning. My mind says, yes, do it! My body is saying, "Ohhhhhhhh Lawdy!"

Got me a LOVELY egg yesterday! It is totally

worthy. Don't know who gave it up, but it's a looker and wouldn't ya know it....my camera finally died so now I can't even post a photo of it.

But, just before my camera died yesterday I was able to get a couple photos of 2 little blue copper cockerels that I forgot all about sharing with ya...they are about 3 mos. old and starting to look great...complete with nice combs. Don't know how I forgot about sharing these little guys and a little Black Copper female the same age. I wasn't planning on keeping them and they were in with the youngin group for sale, but now that I took a good long look at them yesterday, I will probably keep all 3 of them and I'll be danged if there isn't 5 little Barnevelders and a lovely little olive egger pullet in there too that have to stay now as well, but that is it...the rest of them will have to go.

For crying out loud....now my camera won't even open so that I can get the pics off it....

ARGH!!!! It's been giving me signals of totally dying....lines across the photos and most all photos lately have had a nice pink hue to them...not on purpose, though I do love it..it's just not right. Alas....DH will finally have to let me get a new one.

Will work getting those pics for ya later....must run DD computer to her at college...of course it didn't show up before she went, it had to show up later that afternoon after we had taken her down and moved her in, ahhhh but this give the old mum a reason to see her again.

Will use my phone later when I get home to get some temporary pics of the little glutens..it doesn't have a flash but it will work for now. Have a wonderful day friends and I will talk to ya all later. Got lots of catching up to do...you all have been very busy here lately.

Morning all

Here are some pictures of the 4 Cuckoo Marans chicks we hatched out from our Cuckoo birds, they are about 1 month old now. I divided them by how much barring they are showing, any guesses as what they are(boy or girl).

I also included a picture of dad, who is feather legged. mom was a hatchery Cuckoo Marans with no leg feathering- we lost her this past week- we are thinking due to interal egg laying issues.
