Found this today on an Amish web site. Ok, the Amish don't have the site, but it's quips and stories from them!

Thought it was so sweet, and a very true statement for all you Moms and Grandmoms!

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow;
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep!

WOW! you had a big weekend!! How much were raffle tickets there? At the show I helped put on in the spring here they were 25 cents apiece...but the birds were on a silent auction instead....LUCKY YOU!!! I can't wait to see pics of them!

You are so lucky you got to meet so many people too!

Tons of great poultry folks there. I met Bev Davis, too, and saw some perty dark eggs.

Tons of raffles, all prices. Chocolate Orp (Imported) tickets were $5. each.

Man!! lucky!!! $5 on a raffle ticket for the Orps wasn't bad at all!! Unless you put in like 100 of the raffle tickets, then...um...maybe not so much

That's great you are having such a great weekend, I've been wishing I could have gotten off work for it all week, but at least we can hear all about it on here!
