So, I've been getting what seems to be personal messages to others, is that the deal?
Or do I need to "turn on" something else? Like the messages about the DQ on feather legs?
It just didn't seem like I was learning anything...

Snowbird: I think the forum has changed some since you were a member. I don't log on very often but it seems like there was some changes made... It is much more complicated than this one I think.

Nope, it's the other way around - "chicken_Club" is the free one, and CHICK club is the paid one.
