I just got some maran's. 3 different groups, I have questions. One group the young guy said he bought this rooster when he was just a baby and the man he bought him from said he was a black copper, but the young guy said he thought he was a splash. The picture's I see on here he is a black copper. I need to see some photo's of other black copper rooster's if ya'll don't mind.
My next question is what do I breed my lemon cuckoo hen to, to make more lemon cuckoo?
My first time with maran's so any help is greatly apperciated.

I was just going to say Wheaten, they get mistaken alot for Black Copper.
Is he from up north? Looks like some frostbite damage on his comb, or some fighting? The points aren't so pointy.
I have a few roos like that...

Not so sure on the splash, this is mine... Oops,I deleted the roo, the girl on the right is a splash.

Will go thru files to get the roo.

This is a Copper splash roo. Just take out the copper, and you have splash.
