One of my solid blue marans hens has a floppy comb too. I don't think it is supposed to count against them if they are laying age. Does anyone know for sure?
I like my blue girl with her floppy comb, she reminds me of a pretty french girl with a red beret tilted over to one side

Illia... what fabulous birds... I have to say... I am sooo completely smitten on the blue copper and my fave in the series is the mature rooster close up in the last picture... What a soulful fellow... Love them picture!!! thanks...You made my day!!!!
