Beautiful boys Illia! It reminds me of a question I've been wanting to ask about the proposed standard. I am not familiar enough with chicken anatomy to make myself clear without a visual aid, so this gives me the perfect opportunity. In the 5th pic down, I noticed a color difference in the two BCM brothers. The one on the right has a lot more copper on his back than the one on the left. Is one type of coloring preferable to the other?

Illia, what do the female look like in the blue wheaten ?

Illia - I LOVE that blue wheaten. Most beautiful roo I think I have ever seen.

Female Blue Wheatens look a lot like this, but replace the black on the wings and tail with blue. They're usually a nice "creamy" version of Wheaten. Sadly my only Blue Wheaten hen was taken by a raccoon days ago due to brooding far off in the back of the pasture, so I just have Wheaten girls for my Blue Wheaten cockerel, which still creates Blue Wheatens.
