Please excuse the trash bag with poo on it.. The birds were roosting above... They were where they didnt' belong and I took an opportunity to use the small space for a picture without them running everywhere.

Please critique my pullet everyone. She is not laying yet.

Here is the post.... Anyone can join in the critique... Please let me know what you all think..

This is one I would try to show... So for next year I want to improve it... It is young... Not laying yet..

It does have one feather (tiny fluff) on an inside toe... How bad is that????

Okay, in all seriousness - does her copper hackle color go all the way to the front? If not, it should be bred back in. Also, she could use heavier shank feathering. Odd that she has a tiny stray feather on an inside toe when her shank feathering overall isn't that heavy. But, other than that, to my amateur eye, she looks AWESOME, geebsie!

wynette... you just make me smile... If you and pink split her... It will have to be with gravy... ha ha... (that is the only way she is leaving here ladies)...

I kinda want to know if I would be embarrased at the show with her... I am kinda proud of the progress but just one person (myself) is kinda biased .

I'm tellin' you - ship her to me, I'll save you the embarrassment of showing her. Pink's already got enough chookies!

Well truth be told she has lots of feathers on the shank... the other birds picked them out... So I removed her from that pen... They are just starting to grow back in.

Here is an much earlier pic before they ate them all off.. I am sure in a couple weeks they will be back in and I will show you again that she does have a good feather base... But very good thank you... I am appreciating that insight.. The feathering is very important in the judging... No the red doesn't meet under the jaw...It is working it's way around... It is red on her head though the picture doesn't show it that well.. Would she be ignored completely or is she enough of the type that she would help the cause...

I guess it does go under the beak... How is this??? There is no mossy anywhere and no white feathers anywhere on her. she is a VERY SHINEY BIRD... so what you see that looks gray is shiney... that is kinda why the quality of the red on her head is hard to see. I am using a flash in a darker area...As you can tell by the shadow behind her. She is pretty wiggley too!!!

JELLO! No way, she's more high falootin' dessert quality...name her creme brule! (sp? shows how high falootin' I am!)

I think she's a FINE example!

I have amended the post above so that you have a frontal view... and some sidenotes...
The bottoms of her feet are pinkish...Her toenails are white.
