Ok, please bear with me. Trying to post pics off my phone and not going as well as I hoped. Gonna try later today on a real computer.
These are the chickens that I posted about yesterday...1 hen, 2 pullets, and my old boy roo, also one pic of my FBCM cockeral ..oh, I think it loaded a pic of my horse too.. sigh...I just hate it when my "smart" phone outsmarts me.

The old boy lost the top half of his comb to frostbite. When I brought him home his feet, wattles and comb were all frostbitten. His feet and wattles are recovering.....but not his comb. I forgot to mention before but the cockerals mamma is pure black. The woman told me that she would still throw black coppers, but I don't know anything about the genetics of bcms yet. She does have feathering on her shanks but very sparse and no feathers on her toes. All of these birds are supposedly from.the wade jean line.

Very nice pictures, your poor rooster did get frostbite bad! Sometimes the cooper color is hidden and won't be expressed on the bird but the bird will still be carrying the cooper gene so it will pass it on to offspring. Maybe someone else will be able to give you a more detailed explanation.

Thanks Vicki and Donna. I'm still trying to find all of the different settings on this new camera, the instruction CD didn't work on my puter? The manual stinks, and doesn't explain much, but I'll go back and check it out! I finally got the one pic to load!! Only took me and hour and 10 minutes!

Here is "Dopey", and her hatchmate "Pekkar" to her left. She was totally freaked out by the noise this camera makes, so she is standing very upright. Right after I clicked it, she BOLTED!!!! They are just over 5 months old...

I am loving that little splash girl. She is way too pretty to be named Dopey LOL!! Hey try and look up some videos on you tube for your camera. I have found the craziest 'how to' stuff there. They have lots of instructional type videos for all kinds of electronics.

love the splash girl picture, we had one similar to her in color and rehomed her to someone looking to get started with chickens just for eggs :)
