im on the west coast, why?
thanks! theres a supposedly really good breeder where I live so I think I might get some. The only other bird i'm thinking of getting instead are wyandottes, I know this is a marans thread but does anyone know what the main differences between these birds are?

First Egg color, next Egg Size, comb type, body type, color varieties just completely different birds.

Yeah Barb! I have 4 hatched, one 3/4 of the way zipped, and at least one more pip. I have so far, 2 Splash Partridges, and 2 Blues!

awesome debbi! lookslike maybe byc is behaving for you today eh? i just shifted my eggs due to hatch next friday into a lower tray to make room for the next batch of eggs. Its about 90 more eggs if I remember right.

Congrats on your silkie eggs hatching Debbie and Barb. Hope you both get lots of babies. I set some more silkie eggs, olive egger eggs and the silver sussex eggs under a broody BCM. She is an awesome setter and was a good momma last year. I hope she does good this time

I hope the other BCM and OE stay broody into next week and maybe I can do some quick egg swapping when they get up to eat lol.
