I hatched not 1 but 2 SPLASH Copper chicks

and 1 blue.... they were not done... still hoping for a couple of more. I know one of the splash has great feathered legs... I think the other has some feathers, not sure yet. Pretty good hatch already. Hoping for more in the morning

Thanks for the compliments on the eggs friends, but as I sit here using my hubbies computer (because mine is having issues again...ARGH!!!!) I am noticing that they look the right color on his monitor but when I look at them on my monitor they appear darker than they really are....so I think depending on monitors and such that it is safe to assume they are slightly lighter than they may appear in the photo. I am still very happy with them because I think this is a good color egg for a splash bird.

Vicki...I checked tracking and they were in Omaha at 320AM this morning!

As of yesterday, 2 splash coppers 1 blue copper, 3 Blue cuckoo marans and 1 pipped, 4 BLRW and 4 Project Rocks

I will leave the unhatched eggs in a couple of more days. I had several hatch a couple of hatches ago several days late. Most were BLRW. I only have 1 each of the project, Copper Marans and Cuckoo Marans, but 3 BLRW that have not done anything BUT I didn't candle before I put them in. I will check it all out today when I move the babies to the brooder.

Vicki, I don't really have any eggs I can send you. I got 7 eggs yesterday, but they are all pullet eggs and still on the small side. Maybe next time.

Math Ace and Blarney~ I am trying to send recipe but having issues with my computer. Will try again today when I get home. Oh and Math, yes you can also use blueberries. Also get those blackberries picked and you can freeze them before using in recipe. Actually freezing them works better I read.
