LOL!!!!! I'm no expert.

I do have a 2 hens that have slightly bigger combs than I care for. Chloe who I posted a few pages back has a bigger comb. Chloe's is the biggest. I also have a Splash pullet that has a little bit bigger comb but not as big as Chloe, but the Splash birds comb has kinda flopped over and it is more fat and compact than Chloe. She (the splash) has been laying now for about 2 months.
The rest of them are pretty tight combs.

I think I am calling it quits for tonight. My little golden comet pullet just bacame a hen today. She has set a record tonight for laying the earliest out of my flock. . . 17 weeks old and 1st egg

OMGosh! Soooo many pages to catch up on........lol: that is something I must do in the morning with coffee.

SNOWBIRD - - I got to thinking (and yes I do that every once in a while) about those pictures of a few of your bcms.
IT was a REAL PAIN uploading all those pics that I posted today. It took - - like HOURS - - to get them uploaded. So, what I was thinking was that it might be easier if you just emailed them. I don't think you would have to upload them to email them. I really would like to see them . . . I would PM you about this - - -but dang it - - I am at almost max limit on pms and I don't want to delete anything that I have saved.

I am thinking ( oh there I go again - - doing that thinking thing) that I am going to have to get a paid membership soon so that I can enjoy unlimited pm space !

Hey folks... I'm fairly new to chickens, and acquired 4 new girls, including a Splash Marans a few days ago. I'm not a breeder, and certainly not an expert, but she is so pretty, I thought I'd share. Her name is Smudge. She kept getting behind her fat Wyandotte friend, and I could only get a picture when she decided to lay down. I know her tail feathers are a little askew, but I'm hoping that'll work itself out. And she's already a big girl at 15 weeks. Thanks for looking!

Ok so I was wondering if any one had seen this before and could help me out. I just got some BCM's to hatch YAAA and was very happy with them. All of them are black and white little fluff balls with little fluff on there toe. Every thing looked good tell I saw this little guy when he was dry had red on his head. What the freek is up with this lol. I love him/her but umm is this normal? sorry about the pic but all i have is a cell phone to take pic's on right now.

The other guys look normal so far.

The ginger headed one is likely to contain a lot of red as an adult... What line... They look Wade Jean to me... LOVE EM... Nice girls in there it looks like... Congratulations.

That is too funny! I don't even know where I got that towel! What's even funnier is we both used Olive or Blue eggs too!
