They are supposed to have feathering on their legs, it doesn't go away.hey people great photos! Glad i found this thread. i recently bought a black copper maran rooster in early febuary and he looks like hes going to have show bird qualitys is this breed suppose to have feathered feet and if so how long until feet feathering gos away or reduces in quanity? i have some more questions about this breed if this is the place to ask

I eat them. You can't hardly even give roosters away for free around here.
Same here. I hate that though because by the time u feed them from chicks from the time u butcher them,you are spending more money (and space) on them, where I wonder how much more expensive it becomes vs your $2/lb chicken?
I wish I had sold them before I could sex them.
