My golden cuckoos haven't started laying yet either. I have older males from the first batch and finally got females from my second batch I hatched lol. They should lay pretty soon I'm hoping..

My chickens all laid in the nestboxes with the hot pink and purple plastic easter eggs in them LOL! They probably wonder why thiers didn't look that way.

Folks, please don't feed trolls and PLEASE don't respond to them. When that happens, you become a troll to the troll. Also, posting and responding about trolls elsewhere on the forum is less than helpful and we just have to go and deal with that too. Remember, trolls don't care where the food is, as long as they get to eat it.

Welcome back everyone!!! I am excited! I got a new golden cuckoo boy with feathered shanks!!! He is a cross between a FBCM and a cuckoo marans, but he has alot of qualities that I needed! Mostly feathered shanks and actual barring on his feathers! His sisters are laying a DARK egg, so I am very hopful for him. The second picture is just to show that he does indeed have barring on his tail etc, as the other picture is pretty dark, he had been out in the rain, so he looks a little darker than he actually is! What do you all think about him? His eye color is good. Also, the feathers on his shanks have all been broken off, but will hopefully come back nice!
