Marans Thread - breed discussion & pictures are welcome!

One of these days I'll get the knack of taking egg pics that show the color accurately. The pics always come out too dark or too light. I play around with the lighting but I just can't get it right. But even if I get the pics to look right on my monitor, they might not show accurately on other peoples' monitors.

Cloudy days are supposed to be the BEST lighting.

Yeah Overcast and that card idea is great!!!!


I have the cards, so I will do that.

I think it's the best we can do. "Photo or it didn't happen" translates in my mind to "Photo with Marans egg chart or it didn't happen!"
