Just wanted to share some pictures of some of my littles from so far this year. They range in age from 2-6 weeks old. Don'tt mind the fermented feed stuck to their feathers. They really get into their food lol

Nice brood you have there! My chicks are around the same ages. The oldest were born the first week of January and the youngest were born last week. I think I have a total of 26 right now, mostly black coppers, a few splash marans, some french cuckoo marans, etc. March through May are our biggest hatching months when egg production picks up. We have biddies everywhere.. I love it. Lol

I'm in Lancashire and have one wheaten Marans. I'm currently tracking down some Black Copper.

Seriously. Look on ebay. There are no shortage of bcm. If you want genetically pure there are about 15 breeders who specialise. They are very common.
