I couldnt see the feet clearly.. are they feathered like brahmas?

from what I understand, marans should have lightly feathered shanks with feathers along the outer toe. Not quite as heavy as brahma. But I'm still new to this. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong lol

Marans are to have feathered legs yes.

They are not very dark. See what you get to hatch.... getting chicks from shipped eggs more important for $85.

That's what I've heard as well. My BCM from a breeder are like this.

They are not very dark.  See what you get to hatch.... getting chicks from shipped eggs more important for $85.

They do seem a little light, but that can be computer screen resolution, plus it's something you can work on with your breeding selections if you choose.
As far as the later comments, they were asking about feathered legs. Tbere are some clean legged ones out there but they should be feathered as described, according to the standard.
