my BCM pullet doesn't lay a dark egg. Unless she's just not warmed up yet. She's only laid twice so far. But my marans/brahma cross lays a beautiful dark egg. This just doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully her sprayer is just not warmed up yet. What do you experts think? Do they take a little bit to get that beautiful color? Sorry to tell you but your blue copper, he is not copper. He looks like a cross with a birchen so he will not breed true.
