This guy was a "birthday gift" from a city friend who couldn't have roosters. She wasn't sure about his breed. I think he looks lots like a Cooper Marans... but his comb is weird. I should add, he has pink legs- since you can't seem em in this photo. Do you think he is a Marans with an oddly grown comb?

it looks like a pea comb. It might be a Easter egger. They come in lots of colors and have pea combs

I'm voting easter/olive egger with wheaten Marans blood (brown wingtip).

I've just collected two of my easter egger eggs (a blue and a green one) that I think were fertilized by this guy. I wont know for sure what is up until his offspring begin laying correct?

I believe so. He has a pea comb all amarucana's have those and so do Easter eggers

Our wheaten Marans cockeral has that exact coloring. That comb is strange to me. My brahmas have pea combs. Looks totally different. I can kinda see ear muffs

When you cross a straight comb and a pea comb you get a weird looking comb..... kind of a hybrid. The pea comb is dominate but because they just have one copy the comb looks off.

Oh
