If you want to say it the French way, yes, they don't tend to pronounce the ends of words eg les is pronounced lay not les like we would say it.

To be honest though I'll still pronounce it Ma-Rans because that feels the most true to English.

Sometimes I have to sit on my hands to avoid an argument.

On a Facebook poultry group, a lady had pics of what were clearly Easter Eggers. She was selling them as Americanas (or however she spelled it wrong), and said you can tell they're true americanas because they have beards. Only the true ones have beards.

Arrrgh! That burns me up. Then to spell Ameraucana wrong makes it even worst.
