Hi Math Ace - I think they would make a lovely couple and pretty babies.

But, my oh my, does she have a big comb. My hens have itty bitty combs. Her's would put some of my roos to shame.

Lisa, Here is what I really think about your male and female. I believe your male is a Bev Davis breed male and if his Back was a little wider and longer he would not be High Tail like he is and from what I can see the female has a longer back and if you only have these two let them have a go.

LOVE CONNECTIONS # 2

I am hooking up the roo in post #4428 with this Blue Copper hen.

THIS is what I SEE when I look at her . . . . . . . . ..
She desparetly needs more blue . . . . .
She is not as big as I would picture a "dual purpose" bird. In my eyes, she could use some help with size.
I think there is room for her tail to have a slightly higher angle too.
She could use some help with that comb too.

THE GREAT thing about her is she lays some HUGE EGGS and lays at least 5 eggs a week. The color could be darker - - but I get plenty of these eggs

IF I am totally off base on my analysis of her - - TELL ME -- PLEASE ! !
